From Overwhelmed to Overflowing: How the Holy Spirit Showed Me the True Secret to Success

On that fateful day, I was worried, depressed, and weighed down by a mountain of bills. My emotions spiraled into self-pity, and I didn’t know what else to do but cry out to God:
"Lord, I need to get out of this mess. I need Your help!"

I couldn't even go home. I needed time to think, to breathe, to hear. So I went to the library, sat down, and it was there that the Holy Spirit began to pour out His treasured words into my heart. After that divine conversation, I found the answers I had been desperately seeking. The heavy burdens on my shoulders were lifted. I felt life surge back into my soul, and joy welled up within me.

I am forever thankful for the gift of the Holy Spirit through Christ.
And that is what I want to share with you today.

A little background about me: I’m a mom, a student, and a side hustler in digital marketing. I’m also a brand partner with an organic Beauty & Wellness company. But on that day, I was broke—to the last cent.

Whenever I went weeks without making a sale, I would lose my joy, my courage, and even the desire to market my products.
Not only that, the burden of school and family weighed heavily on my time.

I needed to learn how to manage my time better—and I needed a mindset shift.

Then the Holy Spirit spoke so clearly:
“STOP FOCUSING ON THE PRODUCT.”

At first, I was shocked. I thought maybe I was just talking to myself. But then He explained:
“FOCUS ON THE PEOPLE.”

Immediately, the Scripture from Matthew 6:33 lit up in my heart:
"Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you."

When God is truly leading you, He confirms His instructions with His Word.
The Holy Spirit showed me that I was worried about what to eat, drink, and how to pay my bills—and it was causing me to chase money.
But chasing after money only makes it fly farther away.

Money is not to be chased.
Money is to be attracted.

And how do we attract money?
By serving people. By solving their problems.

Money is with people.
When you serve people—helping them with their needs—you attract the financial blessings you need.

It's like this:
You don't chase after honey while ignoring the bees. You attract the bees, and they continually produce honey.
Likewise, money is the result of effort.
It’s the result of a need met, a problem solved, and a service rendered.

Those who reward you are people.
When you serve people with what they genuinely need, you are blessed in return.

No wonder Jesus said, “I am among you as one who serves.”
And He taught us that love is the greatest commandment.

When you love your neighbor as yourself, you naturally want to help them, care for them, and solve their problems.

As the famous Zig Ziglar once said:
"You can have everything in life you want if you will just help enough other people get what they want."

So practically, how does this apply to my business?
I should focus on the problems people are facing—and show them how the products I offer can solve those problems.
Instead of just "throwing" products at them, I must serve, care, and provide value.

And that's one of the reasons I started this blog.
To be a blessing.
To help other moms like me.
To educate you on how to stay healthy, radiant, and beautiful—especially after age 30 when our bodies start to change.
